干冰微粒喷射工艺对等离子喷涂金属涂层结构和性能的影响

摘要:
干冰微粒喷射法被应用到大气等离子喷涂中以改善涂层的性能。文中采用等离子喷涂和干冰微粒喷射工艺在不锈钢基体表面制备了钢涂层,并研究了涂层的微观结构、孔隙率、温度、氧化、表面粗糙度和结合强度等性能。结果表明,由于干冰微粒喷射具有较高的冷却效率,加之干冰微粒撞击所产生的机械作用,等离子喷涂制备的钢涂层呈现出更致密的结构特征。相比于空气冷却制备的涂层,干冰微粒冷却制备的涂层含有更少的氧化物。另外,干冰微粒喷射工艺对基体的预处理使得涂层的结合强度提高了将近14%,这是由于干冰微粒喷射工艺对基体上吸附的有机物质具有清洁作用,主要基于干冰颗粒的热、机械和膨胀的综合效应。

Abstract:
Dryice blasting was applied to the atmospheric plasma spraying process for improving coating's properties. In this paper, the steel coating was plasmasprayed combined with dryice blasting on the stainless substrate, and the properties of the coating including microstructure, porosity, temperature, oxidation, surface roughness, and adhesion strength were studied in detail. Results show that plasmasprayed steel coating displays a denser structure because dryice blasting has better cooling efficiency and mechanical effect arising from the impact of dry ice pellets. Compared with the coating deposited by air cooling, the coating prepared by dryice blasting has less oxide. Additionally, the adhesion strength increases up to 14% after the pretreatment of dryice blasting. This result from the cleaning effect of dryice blasting on organic substances adsorbed on the substrate surface is a combination of thermal, mechanical and sublimating effect.
