| In this paper described and analyzed multidisciplinary integration and high activity as the obvious and distinct features of surface engineering and technologies. Based on examples of application, the paper pointed out the significant influence and important meaning of the surface engineering for the socioeconondc development, material wealth creation, human life improvement, conservation of energy and resources, as well as for the sustainable deve1opment of the mankind.This paper also considered it is useful to analyze and understand the objective rules for the proper development of surface engineering and strongly pointed out the great importance of a wholehearted cooperation between five main forces: the government ofganizations, the social organizations, the industrial enterPrises and companies, the universities and colleges, and the research and development institutes. |
