Effect of Co Content on the Wear-resistance of (WCCo/NiCrBSi) Composite Brazing Coating |

A composite WC-Co/ NiCrBSi brazing coating on 1045 steel surface was obtained by the vacuum brazing technique, using the WC-Co cemented carbide and NiCrBSi (AWS Ni-2) alloy powders. The tensile strength of coating and bonding strength between coating and substrate reached 100-140Mpa and 300-360Mpa, respectively, at different brazing conditions. The effect of Co concentration on wear-resistance of composite coating was investigated. The experiment results showed that the wear-resistance of (WC-Co/NiCrBSi) composite coating was higher than that of flame welding overlay with the same composition and CoCrW (stellite 6B) overlay. |
