涂、镀层的结合强度评定

摘要:
涂、镀层与基体的结合强度是评价其质量的重要性能指标.常用的结合强度评定方法:厚涂层采用粘结拉伸法;薄膜镀层用划痕法。本文指出了这两种方法存在的问题。我们自行设计制造的涂层压入仪.采用楔压法测得热喷涂层的结合强度.当结合强度高于粘胶强度时仍有效。采用正压法测定气相沉积薄膜的结合强度并与划痕法作了比较。我们提出用接触疲劳试验测定硬质薄膜的界面疲劳强度评定结合力。这种方法接近于工具服役状况,其破坏形式是界面剥落.只对界面状态敏感。不受非界面因素影响,因而可作为动态结合强度的判据。

Abstract:
Bonding strength is an important criterion in evaluating the quality of the coating layers. The conventional way of bonding strength testing for thick layers is pull-off method, and scratch test for thin films. The drawbacks of these two methods are discussed in thls paper. A high load indenter with loading and unloading curves plotting attachment has been developed by the authors. Using cleavage indenting, the bonding strength of thermal sprayed layers can be tested and is particularly good for those with the bonding strength higher than that of adhesives. When normal indenting is applied, the thin film bonding can be tested by this indenter and the results have been compared with that by scratch tests. A proper way to evaluate the bonding strength of thin films is contact rolling test, in which the cyclic shear stress range is responsible to the delandnation of the thin films and can be employed for the criterion of the adhesion. The testing condition of this method is close to the practical applications,its failure form is interfacial debonding, regardless the non-interfacial properties. Therefore it is appropriate to use this method for bonding testing of thin films.
