Abstract: |
Current situation and development of bio-tribology
and surface engineering research have been reviewed in this paper. Failure mechanism of
some artificial organs, such as artificial joint, rigid skeletal fixation, implant denture
and artificial heart valve were introduced, and palliative methods for increasing the
service life reported in the literature were examined. Based on the above review, some
suggestions for the further studios have been made as well. |
